Equine Paragons

Mine Equines:

(That's one awful representation of my darling!)

They are really the most lovely horses in the world, though the camera cannot capture them perfectly. All my fellow horsey people do know that horses are un-photogenic. Where's Mark J. Barret when you need him? (And by the way, he completely trumps Bob Langrish)
The orange pony is Maximus, (with the name "Gluteous" in front if I am particularly angered with him.) He is a darling. Annually, we roach his mane and forelock and he sports a spiky hairdo. And he is the world's best, most darling pony.
The blood bay is Chess, and he is a dreamboat. No more need be said.
P.S. I know all you other horsey persons are sitting there, rolling your eyes, and thinking that your babies are prettier, but they aren't. Don't take it too hard. =D

Fodder

Attention!
During my vacation from blogging, read this insanely awesome blog:

It's gnarly.
Libby finally got around to starting a blog with her brother, Jare. (Join the club!)
So, check this fabulously bodacious blog out.

The Zoo is enlargening!

Lottie, our dear cat, (See above picture [we don't have very recent pictures!]) had four kittens on the 12th.

This is Chauncy, or at least that is his name for now. One looks like her mom. Until they develop more distinct personalities, I am calling the other two Boba and Jango because they resemble each other exactly.

And as well as these feline additions, we have acquired Mango and Tango, two orange fish whose particular variety I cannot precisely remember at this moment in time.

An Introduction to Audrey

This is my dear cousin Audrey. She is as awesome as they come.

I regret to say that I have no Really Boring Interview to present to you like I normally do on my introductions. But that is fine because after all, they are really boring interviews, and as is apparent, Audrey isn't a boring person.
Her fashion sense is unique. Or maybe she just loves costumes.

Here is Audrey discovering her inner mouse. (But Audrey really is an adventuring person.) Oh, and she also collects those estimable objects that are the mark of a country bumpkin.

This is her dog, Chrissy, who accompanies us on almost all of our adventures. Chrissy has newly discovered her talent in soccer. Audrey hates soccer with a fiery passion burning deep in her heart, except when Chrissy is playing.
Audrey could dance all night, if an opportunity lent itself.

To quote the venerable Boynton, "Turn with the cow in a patch in a patch of clover, All take a bow and [this post] is over.

An Introduction to my dogs...

I was considering the possibility of an opening sentence like, "Dogs, you just gotta love them," or "Here we see man's best friend," or something else cheesy and cliche like that. However, luckily for you, I have decided against it. Instead, I will start with...

Uhhhhhh, what am I going to start with? Anyway, the dog above is Sergeant displaying his most striking military pose. Here's Kipper. He won't sit still for the camera. As you can see, he's extremely unphotogenic.

These two mutts are especially beloved, but not especially well-trained.To be precise, they can perform two "tricks" between the two of them; Sergeant can sit, and Kipper can come.
Although this is technically an introduction, I am afraid that for rather obvious reasons, (Example: Me: "So Sargent, what do you think of blogging? Serge: "Bark" ...that wouldn't quite make the cut.) I was unable to conduct the interview in accordance with tradition.
Well, there you have it folks: my dogs, if you were interested in knowing. I am not entire certain why I am posting about them, but I know that one of these days a really, really funny story will turn up about them.

An Introduction to Ava

Ah! Here we see my little sister Ava. She is four. We have more pictures of her than any other member of the family because she is the only one who doesn't scream and hide if Mom whips out the camera.
She is also the only person with blonde hair in our family. I think she is a doll.

The Boring Interview
Me: Ava what do you think of blogs?
Ava: What? I like them maybe.
Me: What about them do you like?
Ava: Can I have a piece of paper?
Me: Do you want a blog?
Ava gravely shakes her head.
Me: Why?
Ava: Because I want to draw on a piece of paper.
Me: Okay, forget the whole blogging thing what are you going to draw?
Ava: Flowers! And a horsey.
Me: So, Ava... Ava? Ava?

The Formal Introduction to my little little brother Milo.

This is Milo:
Well, actually, with his haircut, he looks more like this:

But hey, he's pretty darn cute either way, right? Of course right. But my goodness, is he a piece of peanut brittle right now, because my dearly beloved parents are attending a conference for the church, and Bracie and I are watching him. I honestly believe that he never sleeps, he only "hibernates" for a couple of hours, only to wake up again. But, with a face like that, you still have to love him.

The Boring Interview

Me: So, Milo, what do you think of your sister's blogging?

Milo: Blank look, followed by peals of laughter.

Me: Well then, anything you'd like to tell us about yourself?

Milo: Doggie! Woof.

Me: Thank you for that fascinating piece of information. Er, um, that's all, I guess.

This video is really, really random. Oh well. It was the only one I had of Milo.

The Formal Introduction to Bracie

The name of Bracie has graced this blog before, so I have decided to give you the formal introduction. First, we have the boring interview:

And now, what you have been waiting for; the funny part. This is my beloved sister, starring in a clip that she herself filmed. Quite a feat; filming the movie you star in. Here goes...
